In the northwestern part of New Mexico appears a lengthy, shallow arroyo known as Chaco Canyon National Historic Monument. Ceremonial chambers called Great Kivas were noticeably highlighted in The Great Houses. A healthy modern society persisted for approx 300 years, up until mysterious transitions or disasters sparked the inhabitants to leave, and never return. It's probably a fusion of social factors, conditions, and or shifting rain quantities ended in the occupants walking away from Chaco canyon. Chaco Canyon within the years 950 A.D. to 1150AD is the finest authentic mystery story of the South-west.
